“Ang Lee (“Lust, Caution” and “Brokeback Mountain”) is making “Taking Woodstock,” a comedy about Woodstock with the 40th anniversary of the legendary concert coming up. Film is distributed by Focus Features and is adapted from the historic 1969 memoir “Taking Woodstock: A True Story of a Riot” written by Elliot Tiber who Demetri Martin (“The Daily Show With Jon Stewart”) will protray. Story follows a Greenwich Village based interior designer who now turns to running a motel in Catskills; a family-owned business.”
